This is an alternative to fraynot for lining spines. A surprisingly strong 80gsm paper with crumpled treatment which adds rigidity, whenever that is needed. The rigidity is the reason why we recommend this material for the lining of the book block in the Pianel tutorial.
It is also a beautiful paper in and of itself. To dye, and use as covering paper? We haven't tried. Will you?
